Welcome to FosterTalk. We’re an independent, non-profit organisation providing professional support services to foster carers across the UK.

From impartial advice to preferential pricing arrangements, we’ve built up a comprehensive package over the last ten years.

So it’s no surprise that we’re fast becoming the UK’s top fostering support service.

Why FosterTalk?

We’re the only organisation to focus solely on supporting foster carers.

We know how important it is to listen to and understand our service users, which is why we work in partnership with foster carers and providers to develop our services. It’s our way of ensuring that we offer a flexible, responsive approach that best meets the needs of foster carers and the children in their care.

What our Members say:

“I chose FosterTalk because their support makes all the difference.” Foster Carer

“A crucial service that has a huge impact on the retention of Foster Carers.” Local Authority Children’s Services Manager

“If it hadn’t been for FosterTalk, I don’t know how I’d have coped.” Foster Carer

Do you think that FosterTalk should be crowned Helpline of the Year?

by FosterTalk Admin on August 16th 2016

Do you think that FosterTalk deserves to be nominated for the Helpline of the Year Award 2016?

Part of your membership with FosterTalk provides access to our helplines – legal advice, tax and benefits advice, educational advisory service, 24 hour medical and counselling helpline as well as our fostering advice helpline.

We believe that we provide foster carers and fostering services with first class customer service; a belief that was confirmed earlier this year as we received the Customer Service Excellence® standard.

Have you phoned FosterTalk and received help and support?

If the answer is yes, then please vote for us to receive the Helpline of the Year Award for 2016. This prestigious award, made by the Helplines Partnership, will go to the champion for the helpline sector, who has made a significant contribution to the wellbeing of service users and garnered respectability for the sector.

You can nominate FosterTalk for the Helpline of the Year Award by clicking here to go to the Helplines Partnership Nomination Form.

The closing date for nominations is Friday 7th October 2016 at 5pm.

Submit your membership satisfaction questionnaire to have the chance to WIN £50 in M&S vouchers!

YOUR feedback is vitally important – please complete the satisfaction questionnaire by 31 October 2016 and you will be entered into our prize draw to win £50 Marks and Spencer vouchers.
