Social Work England, which will be the new specialist regulator for social workers in England, has launched a consultation on the professional standards that social workers will be expected to meet, and those that are expected from education and training providers. The consultation also considers the rules that social workers can expect from Social Work England in relation to registration, fitness to practise, and education and training assurance processes. The consultation is divided into five distinct sections covering: professional standards, qualifying education and training standards, education and training rules, registration rules and fitness to practice rules.
The closing date is 1 May 2019, 5pm
