Extension to Self Employed Income Support Scheme (SEISS)

The government has announced that the SEISS will be extended to 30 April 2021

2 FURTHER GRANTS WILL BE PAYABLE COVERING THE 3 MONTH PERIODS

– 1.11.2020 – 31.1.2021

– 1.2.2021 – 30.4.2021

WHO CAN CLAIM

You are eligible to claim if you were eligible for the 1st and 2nd grant payments EVEN IF YOU DID NOT CLAIM THESE PAYMENTS

You must be able to declare that you intend to continue trading and either:

  • You are currently actively trading but are facing reduced demand due to COVID
  • You were previously trading but are temporarily unable to do so due to COVID

WHAT YOU WILL GET

The grant will be based on 80% of the average of last 3 years profits capped at £7,500 per 3 month period

The grants is taxable income and subject to NIC.

You can claim online from 30 November 2020
