Children’s mental health services

The Northern Ireland Commissioner for Children and Young People (NICCY) has published a report updating the status of children’s mental health services one year on from their report setting out 50 recommendations from improvements. Findings include: although progress has not been as quick as hoped there have been a number of positive responses to the recommendations, including the establishment of the Inter-Departmental Project Board and its development of an action plan for taking NICCY’s recommendations forward.
