FISS can provide you with advice and guidance from a highly qualified and experienced independent social worker. FISS advisors can give you real support when and where you need it, including:

24 hour response from point of referral
home visits
objective support and guidance
acting as a mediator as required
being an advocate for any member of the foster family, including sons and daughters, and any child or young person still in placement
attendance at meetings, panels and tribunals
briefings for your solicitor
attending and giving evidence at court
