These are the Terms and Conditions governing the provision of training events or services by FosterTalk or its sub-contractors with the exclusion of any other oral or written statement or agreement whatever its legal character. ‘Client’ or ‘Customer’ means a company or individual that completes a training event booking form or enters into a contractual arrangement. ‘Delegate’ means the party or parties’ names as attendees invited to the training event by the Customer. ‘Invoice’ means and invoice for the charges for the services delivered by FosterTalk or its sub-contractors to the Customer.
Booking
By completing this booking form you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions of booking.
Bookings must be accompanied by a relevant purchase order number (if applicable). A booking will only be confirmed once the booking deposit has been paid.
Pricing and Payment Terms
All training event fees are fixed and published by FosterTalk, however FosterTalk reserves the right to review and change prices.
The training event includes tuition and training materials as appropriate to the course.
A 10% deposit is payable by the customer upon confirmation of the booking of a training event.
Payment for the full training event together with the VAT, should be received by FosterTalk 30 days prior to the training event start date. Or on booking whichever is the later.
Payment may be made by cheque or BACS transfer.
VAT
All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT, which will be charged at the prevailing rate as notified by Customs & Excise.
Cancellation
If you need to cancel a confirmed booking, the following charges will apply:
No refund will be made for cancellations received within the 30 days before the event.
50% refund will be made for cancellations received within 30 to 60 days before the event.
Any cancellations must be made in writing to FosterTalk.
FosterTalk undertakes to provide the training course on the date specified except when external circumstances prevent this. In these circumstances FosterTalk will endeavour to provide the training event on a mutually agreeable alternative date.
FosterTalk reserves the right to cancel a training event, though we make every effort to ensure this does not occur. In the event of a course being cancelled by FosterTalk, alternative dates will be proposed or a full refund of monies paid will be made to the customer.
Rescheduling
If the customer needs to re-schedule the training event to an alternative later date, the request must be made in writing
Training events rescheduled by the customer within zero to seven days of the start date of the training event will be accepted subject to availability of trainers and will incur a 10% transfer fee.
Training events transferred by the customer more than seven days before the start date of the course will incur no transfer fee providing the rescheduled date is within 3 months of the original date for the training event.
If the customer cancels a training event that has been rescheduled this will incur a minimum of 50% cancellation fee.
Non Attendance
The customer accepts full responsibility for advertising and promoting the training event to their delegates. If delegates fail to attend an event, the full training course fee is still payable.
Delegates must attend the full training course to qualify for certification, where applicable .
Subcontracting:
FosterTalk reserves the right to assign or sub contract its training events to other appointed and approved personnel.
Workshop Documentation
All participants are provided with workshop/training event notes and handouts to service as a reference tool for use after the event. They cannot be used for cascade training purposes and/or copied. No handouts can be purchased separately and our literature is covered by copyright. Reproduction of the handouts is not allowed without express written consent from FosterTalk.
