FISS Advisor Recruitment

FosterTalk is looking for suitably qualified practitioners in throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, to join our UK-wide network of experienced Advisors delivering the FISS service on a self-employed basis.

As a FISS Advisor you would provide independent professional advice, support, advocacy and/ or mediation to Foster Carers who have had concerns, complaints or allegations made against them, in line with national minimum standards and best practice guidance

About the Role

FISS Advisor work can usually be fitted in with other roles and employment, but you will require some daytime availability in order to attend meetings with foster carers. FISS cases may require anything from 10 to 40 hours of your time, which can be stretched out from several weeks to several months. FosterTalk provide full training as well as ongoing practice development workshops.
